STEM Education for Community Children

Techbase provided coding and technology education to children in community spaces during school holidays. By setting up laptops in local centers, the organization offered hands-on learning opportunities to students who typically lack access to such resources.

The initiative transformed local centers into digital learning hubs, allowing first-time learners to explore computer science in supportive environments. This approach addressed the digital divide by providing access to technology and encouraging students to engage with STEM subjects during their break from school.

By taking STEM initiatives out of the traditional classroom and into accessible community spaces, Techbase delivered vital coding and technology education to children who otherwise would not have access to these critical resources. These localized programs provide hands-on learning opportunities and technical mentorship, effectively bridging the digital divide for underserved youth who are often overlooked by mainstream educational systems.

By placing laptops directly in front of first-time learners during the SCHOOL holidays, the organisation transformed local centres into hubs of digital discovery.

This hands-on approach empowered students to explore computer science in a supportive environment, effectively bridging the digital divide and fostering curiosity during their break from school.
